Today the UCC synod elected its 1st woman to lead. Dr Delk’s name was spoken & I remembered my Chgo session with SCUPE (while a student at Methodist Theological School in Ohio) & her life changing expressions of Sojourner Truth & her words of wisdom! Yes, our God directed paths are clear & we choose to go or say no. May you have many years of continued spiritual guidance & power to change lives & the systems.
