Moral Monday CT is calling for you to join us in “A Solemn Fast for Justice”, beginning on Monday, June 8th. We will gather on the the steps of the State Capital at 10 am. For many of our faith traditions, fasting is used as an individual spiritual discipline/practice for the purposes of renewal. It has also been used like in the case of Gandhi as a political tool for social change. It is our belief that we are in such a time to lead our state into a new era.
The details of the fast we leave to your individual tradition. We hope you would observe the fast from sunrise to sunset. Faith leaders from across the state will be offering prayers from our various traditions on the hour at the Capitol beginning Monday, June 8th.
